★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. Very accommodating staff named Frank. We thought though that the pretzels and peanuts on the table were free. Don’t touch it if you don’t want unnecessary expense. You may or may not give a tip but it’s recommended as printed on the check and the waiters are not shy about it.

Me and my friends were looking for a nice Restaurant in Prague and we’re tired after searching so we just settled in this Restaurant. We didn’t look at the google reviews thus stayed in there. The experience was horrible and not only because the food was too expensive and disgusting but also because we had to pay for the peanuts that were lying on every table and were charged an extra couvert fee. The waiter was mean and forced us to pay a certain tip. Smh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Bar tender Lukas was friendly and very helpful and engaged in conversation. Honzawas very obliging and the food was absolutely fantastic didn't use just once but returned the following day. Would recommend it to everyone. Was absolutely great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot confirm the negative experiences, that are described here. I visited Švejk twice during my stay in Prague in march 2022 and the food, drinks and service were excellent both times (Although it helpes a lot if you like bohemian cuisine). The bill was always correct and nobody was trying to blackmail me into giving a larger tip... ;-)
I'd say: A place worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They cheat, we ordered goulash, in the goulash there were literally 5 small pieces of meat for each addition they charge separately (knedliky to goulash). While carrying, they spill beer. The waiter does not want to give the bill. Despite a fluent conversation in German at the time of issuing the bill, the waiter began to speak three languages at once, so that the bill could not be disputed. I strongly advise against it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words can not explain the laziness of the waiter. He was unwilling to serve us, bring food ä, drink or even to Listen to questions.
The dishes were so so but better food would have been expected for the price.
We will not come again and cannot recommend the restaurant.
1 Star for the Beer. It Was good
