Nové děkanství bylo zřízeno po roce 1691 v barokním slohu, obnovou staršího domu poškozeného třicetiletou válkou. V roce 1796 budovu silně poškodil největší městský požár, o čtyři roky později byla přestavěna do současné podoby. Původní arkády už nebyly obnoveny. Nad vstupem je dodnes dochován kamenný arcibiskupský znak. The dean's office was originally located in house no. 227, which no longer exists. The new deanery was established after 1691 in the Baroque style, by restoring an older house damaged by the Thirty Years' War. In 1796 the building was severely damaged by the biggest city fire, four years later it was rebuilt into its current form. The original arcades have not been restored.
