I have visited timbered houses several times with my family and small children since 2014. It is a wonderful place where peace and quiet. The cottages are beautifully furnished, each has its own unique atmosphere and on departure you are looking forward to your next visit. In winter there are several ski resorts around and in summer you can plan beautiful hikes around. At a distance of 10 km is a pleasant bathing in the dam Beautiful. With the owner is a great deal and always came up to maximum. His professionalism is also reflected in the equipment of cottages and overall ensuring comfort for guests. I warmly recommend.

We rented a Swiss apartment for a week in the attic of the Sudetenland in the area of ​​log cabins. 3 couples and 2 children. The building is newly renovated. At first glance, everything looks beautiful. Unfortunately, after some time spent in the apartment, an unsuitable layout solution turns out. Leaving aside the unsatisfactory slope of both stairs and low doors, I get to the biggest drawback, and that is the only bathroom in which there is also a single toilet. For an apartment for 8-10 people in this price category (26,000 CZK / week) in my opinion insufficient. Another problem is the dining table, which is assigned to the wall (it does not fit elsewhere) and has 5 seats in a row overlooking the wall. So you will probably dine together at a small table by the sofa, as we did. Alternatively, at a smaller table on the terrace. The apartment has two huge bedrooms, where you will probably spend only nights and the rest of the time in the apartment you will be crammed into the living area above the stairs. The idea of ​​storing children in the attic space and having a drink with friends in peace is unfortunately odd, because the attic is not separated from the kitchen with that living area, so you can hear every word upstairs. If you measure more than about 175 cm, you can't see directly from any window on the floor and you will have to lean towards the window to find out what the weather is like outside. As a result, the apartment is a bit cramped. I would rate the kitchen as a plus, which the owner will certainly equip with a few small items, such as a turner or a salad bowl ... We were looking for accommodation at the last minute, so we were glad that we got this, but we will not return. Maybe the log cabins are better designed. Grunt itself has no place on Google, so they write a review here.

We got exactly what we were looking for. Log cabins at the end of the village with proper privacy. Well equipped, clean, plus a private sauna as a bonus. Ideal for families with children. We will definitely stop!

Polished misery, dead flies everywhere, we were not allowed to drown in the stove, touching the thermostat was almost fine, broken dishes, WiFi is more of a joke, etc. If I have a cottage for 6 people, I expect at least 6 plates. Appliances like a toaster or microwave is just for the brave. Too bad the place is beautiful and the idea of ​​log cabins too. Tightening up a few little things, cleaning up and cleaning would be completely different.

The cottages are nicely decorated, in a beautiful place. But what was very annoying was the huge number of flies, when there was no slapstick or flytrap. I understand that this can be a problem in the cottages, but it would be good to get at least some flytraps, because we killed over 100 flies in the first day alone ... We were also sorry that it was not possible to use the stove and WiFi did not work for almost the entire stay.
