 Lookout tower in a great location, affordable admission, free parking and next to the Battle Museum. Nice place for a trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásný výhled z rozhledny, přijemná hospůdka s dětským hřištěm a venkovním posezením pod ní. Nic dietního, ale moc dobré a podávané s dobrým pivem a s úsměvem. Hned vedle muzeum bitvy.
Rozhledna už není uzavřená, jak se uvádí na mapách.
Beautiful view from the lookout tower, a pleasant pub with a playground and outdoor seating under it. Nothing dietary, but very good and served with good beer and a smile. Right next to the Battle Museum.
The lookout tower is no longer closed, as shown on the maps.

The lookout tower is closed for technical reasons, but otherwise I recommend the museum ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really great way to get a bird's eye view of the Battle of Koniggratz, one of the most important (if often overlooked) battles in the 19th Century. From here you get a good view of most of the battle area and there is a really nice museum right next to it. The staff there are both helpful and friendly. They do not speak much English, but we had a native Czech speaker with us and that made a world of difference. If you have any interest in Central European history visiting here is a must.
