A completely ordinary camp (as from the 90's) in the woods on the shore of a pond. Activities other than swimming on the sandy beach and boat rental - none. Deep forests around, so maybe just a paradise for mushroom pickers.

The most amazing holiday. Great bunch of people. I've been coming here for 50 years and I won't get bored.

Pleasant environment in the middle of the forest outside the city civilization. Excellent cuisine, clean accommodation.

The Holná recreation center can be found on the shore of the Velká Holná pond in the middle of extensive forests between Kardašová Řečice and Jemčina. The center used to belong to the Bílina Mines and the spirit of nostalgia and the 1980s breathes on you. The resort can be accommodated in simple wooden original cottages, bathrooms and toilets are shared. There is a central dining room where guests can cook and a small bistro Formanka where anyone can have a snack. We have never been accommodated here, so I will not evaluate RS, but according to the snippets of calls heard, it cooks very well here and people are satisfied. They have a beach by the pond, a ping pong table, Russian skittles, and a boat for rent could be found. Otherwise, there is great peace and beautiful nature. We definitely do not recommend accommodation here to hogo-fogo people who are used to five-star hotels with marble tiles and sterile staff. They will not find anything for themselves here. In my review, I want to focus primarily on the Formanka bistro. My family and I stop here whenever we ride our bikes in the area. It is very simply furnished, but the range is sufficient and the prices are excellent. You can sit inside the cabin and outside on the shore of the pond. You can get an assortment of fast food from the food (hot dog, sausage with mustard and bread, toast, potato pancakes, etc.), but you will also find "bigger" dishes, such as tortillas stuffed with chicken, sometimes some cash, etc. Everyone will definitely choose a drink - draft kofola, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer, flavored Birel, etc. The staff is friendly, the staff fast, the environment quiet. We have nothing to blame for this snack. We will definitely continue to build on refreshments here. Current information from 22.8.2020. The current tenant of the Formanka bistro ends his 16-year operation here this season and will no longer be here from 2021. Formanka will therefore have another tenant or operator. This can change the range of services offered and the price.
