★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buffet was delicious and cheap!! Sandokan is a fairly cozy spot with a quaint indoor atmosphere filled with plants and plans. But the real story is the food. The buffet is hot and fresh, with options to satisfy all. The garlic sauce is savory, augmenting the delicious tastes of the freshly prepared vegetables and legumes.

Just ate at Sandokan Vegan Bistro and really enjoyed the meal and the whole experience.
Even if you are not a veggie, you should try this place. It’s waaay on the opposite side of fancy, (like cafeteria style and standing tables) but the food is good, cheap and has lots of different choices, all vegetarian. 130 kcs for a full plate.
Where else can you have a full meal of fresh healthy food for 130 kcs in Prague? ...Herbal water all you can drink, is free! (Did I say it cheap?)
Down side? Tiny place with standing room only tables and no coffee or deserts. But there’s plenty to be had nearby.
Added bonus - Marek the owner and front man is a wonderfully pleasant individual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful little spot. There is a buffet woth salads hit sides and I think 6 mains, you can test everything with alityle spoon before you fill your plate. All vegan. The plate is 130czk and you can losd it up as much as you like. Amazing mushroom goulash and spicy rice noodles. They do not accept card payments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the month I spent in Prague, I ate lunch here every single day it was open. I've eaten at well over a hundred vegan restaurants in more than ten countries, and this is one of my top five spots in the world.
The food is healthy and delicious, and if you believe it makes a difference when your lunch is cooked by a happy person with great energy, then this is the place you need to eat. One of the things I like best about Sandokan Vegan Bistro is that it only cooks six hot items a day. This means that everything is super fresh when the restaurant opens at 11:00 AM, and nothing is hastily being thrown together by an overworked and stressed out chef. The place is run in a way that it closes when it sells out all its food in the late afternoon, which means that the food served each morning is never leftovers from yesterday. If I had my way, 80 percent of restaurants would be set up like this. It just makes so much sense.
This cooking format also means the entrees are tried-and-true, since they've all been perfected from years of being prepared multiple times every month. All in all, Sandokan Vegan Bistro is flawless, and a must-visit if you are a vegan visiting the Czech Republic. My month in Prague was one of the best and most productive times of my life, in large part because I was being fueled every day by such extraordinarily good meals.

The food is tasty (I think it changes from day to day - when we were there we could choose from different curries and falafel bowls), prices are reasonable, service is quick and you don't even have to make too many decisions since an option 'a little bit of everything' is available. The owner is very friendly and happy to chat & recommend other nice spots in Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little vegan bistro. The options for food are much better than elsewhere in Prague, staff is lovely and menu is fresh. The platter tastes slightly bland in my opinion, however the Vietnamese baguette was a true winner and I'd come back for it any time ?
