Bohužel snadná přístupnost a minimální údržba z ní dělá potenciálně nebezpečné místo často okupované odpadky a houmlesáky. A nice natural formation near a small river in a picturesque Šárka valley is definitely worth seeing at least on a trip to the surroundings. Unfortunately, easy access and minimal maintenance make it a potentially dangerous place for garbage and poppers that are often occupied.

Kdysi tu probíhaly pokusy o těžbu železné rudy. Pozůstatkem těch dob je několik drobných lomů na temeni kopce a krátká průzkumná štola při západním úpatí ostrohu. The rocky promontory above the confluence of the Šárecký and Krutecký streams consists of the Proterozoic shales and siltstones, and in the southwestern part the Paleozoic rocks of volcanic origin. Attempts were once made to mine iron ore here. The remnants of those times are several small quarries at the top of the hill and a short exploration tunnel at the western foot of the promontory. The rocky promontory above the confluence of the Šárecký and Krutecký streams consists of ancient mountain shales and siltstones, and in the south-western part of Paleozoic rocks of volcanic origin. Attempts were once made to mine iron ore. The remnants of those times are several small quarries at the top of the hill and a short exploration gallery at the western foot of the promontory.
