★ ★ ★ ★ ★ První zmínka o Selibicich je z roku 1352. Nejvíce obyvatel tu žilo v roce 1929 a to 271, z toho pouze 51 Čechů. V současné době tu žije kolem 70 hlášených občanů. V roce 1993 byl v katastru obce nalezen J. Helsusem menhir o výšce 190 cm. Tento je v současné době umístěn v muzeu Louny. Od 1.1.1996 jsou Selibice součástí obce Staňkovice.
 The first mention of Selibice is from 1352. The largest population lived here in 1929, namely 271, of which only 51 were Czechs. Currently, about 70 reported citizens live here. In 1993, a menhir with a height of 190 cm was found in the cadastre of the village by J. Helsus. This is currently housed in the Louny Museum. Since 1 January 1996, Selibice has been a part of the village of Staňkovice.
