Nejbližší velké město Brno je vzdáleno asi 50 km a odtud se k nám nejlépe dostanete přes: Kuřim, Černou Horu a Kunštát.

The sports area is located in the one of the most beautiful places in Vysočina near a town Olešnice na Moravě. The area offers an adrenalin sport activiteis for children and adult all year round. You can ski on the 500 m long ski slope with 100 m difference of heigt, mechanically maintained and covered with snow by snowmakers from December to March. Evening skiing is possible thanks to illumination. Ski and snowboarding school with qualified instructors is avaible for children and adult. There is a ski rental and ski service in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we decided to go to olesnice since it's quite a drive to the mountains with better skiing. We arrived and rented out the equipment for a reasonable price. The lady who rented the equipment was nice and helpful. We bought the 10 pack each after which we headed to the lift. We visited just before the school holidays started so the que was virtually non existent. This is where I get into my rant, the lift only had the surface lift type with the "disk" and "anchor" and oh boy that was a struggle. They were hard to get on and very uncomfortable, on top of that the staff servicing the lift didn't do anything to help they just kind of floated there. Fortunately the weather was great (around -7). This place is great for a quick day of skiing but bit for much longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The slope is very good for beginner and intermediate skiers. Rental service was perfectly supplied and a reasonable price. Just make sure to return the skies on time, otherwise you'll have to pay extra for every 15 minutes. On Sunday afternoon the maximum waiting time for a lift was about 8 minutes, most of the day it was under 5 minutes. There is a fast food restaurant right at one of the lifts with prices on a medium level. We paid 150 Kč for a soup and two fried cheeses in buns.
If you want to go skying for one day with kids and not spend a fortune for it, this is a very good place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for learning and great for kids. Rentals are available for all ages, for both skiing and snowboarding. The cafe is quite busy, but the food is pretty good. Staff is all very friendly. We are teaching our son to snowboard, and we live in Brno, so we will definitely be back soon.
