Patience (from both sides?), excellent communication - we had a little problem with a payment, willingness and helpfulness. And their skinners are the best. I would sleep with them if they were clean but I use them outside every day? five friends of mine and I have bought them and every each of us is more than happy. Thank you so much. ?

These are awesome!!! I have been barefoot for 3 years now. I recently moved from the country to the city so I needed something to protect my soles from the sidewalk sandpaper as I call it. But I can’t wear anything like regular shoes now that I have my body working right. I have two pairs of these, two pair of vibran fivefingers V series, one pair of sockwas and 3-4 pair of Xero shoes. These have become my favorites because I don’t even have to think about them or my feet. I walk about 5-10 miles a day so my feet are vital. I can still feel the ground. It really is just like wearing socks. But they are not tight in my toes or in my toe box area. I love them!!!!

I didn't conquer a mountain, ford a wild river, or ice climb on a glacial wall in the Skinners, but they sure were comfortable while in camp and lounging about in my hammock. The bottoms were stout and secure - no slipping or punctures. I will definitely continue to pack them on future trips.

I have taken a few hikes in these and love to just walk around the property, I can go from sitting on the porch to checking the mail (rocky driveway) and then I could cool off a bit in the stream. I tried the medium for my women's 8.5 (sometimes a 9) feet and found the small was a way better fit. I am amazed that I wasn't sore after either hike, both were 1 or more hours up, plus the return trip. It felt so much more natural, and I could grip surfaces wet or dry with a confidence that shoes (nor bare feet!) will give me. My feet do look kinda gross when I peel the Skinners off after hiking, a bit of dirt gets in but these are so comfortable and adaptable that I don't care if I need to rise or wipe off. The shingly rubber texture does tend to pick up fur, so I've learned to not wear them in the house. Will be buying a second pair as soon as I can. I do wish they were a bit cheaper, or at least easier to return. I only ever tried on the mediums, and the return process was fairly complicated. Fyi..if you get them people will look at you either with envy and awe (asking how you hike barefoot, and being amazed that I'm a total barefoot newbie) or they will be grossed out and put off. Be prepared to explain these do count as a minimalist shoe because of the rubber "sole" when the gas station clerk condescendingly asks why you are wearing socks. All in all..I think these are much better than anything else I've tried. I'll still stick to shoes and even vibrams when I'm out and about, but it's easy to get addicted to the freedom and control you get with these. Shoes just feel downright clunky and claustrophobic after you start wearing a pair of Skinners

Love these!!! My only concern is durability. I had them for 3 years now (since Kickstarter launch), I weight 100lbs, only wear them occasionally in the summer, and the bottom is worn out/no longer waterproof. A little frustrating when going on hikes on damp ground as my socks get wet! I would love it if there was a repair kit to find/seal cracks, like with a tire. Full time use for waterproof sole I would estimate would be about 1 year max @ 100lbs. Otherwise amazing product, it's done wonders for my feet!

I can't keep shoes on my children's feet so I went looking for something they could just pull on quickly but would feel like a sock to them. Skinners were our answer! They love them and so do I. They have enough protection and grip on both land and in the water while also allowing their feet to develop properly. They enjoy the feeling of being barefoot and I like how easily washable and well-designed they are. Sizing was a little strange. I measured their feet before ordering and my son's fit perfectly but my daughter's was rather long. It doesn't slow her down though and she'll have room to grow. I want a pair for myself!

Horrible company, overpriced product, you can't return them, they will tell you that the product is used. And you will return them because the socks sizing is wrong I wear 42 normally and needed 40 (s) of their size. Lost about 80 eur (return shipping is on your side)for a pair of socks that doesnt fit my size. And the company is not helpful about providing other size of their product. For such overpriced product you should send another pair within the cost of the first pair or with factory price. That would be proper customer service, instead you leave the customer with not fitting socks that he can't enjoy. Shame on you

Love this product. Been part of the Skinners-verse since it was being crowdfunded. Loved the first iteration so much I bought the 2.0 when it came out even though my originals have plenty of life left on them. I just returned from a trip to Peru. And not this cities of Peru like in Lima or Cusco, the more native and mountainous areas. I used them almost every day to walk on underdeveloped roads, muddy, dirty and rocky areas. And not once did wince or wish I had worn something with more padding. A week straight. The only downside was my feet didnt smell great, but that says more about wearing a sock-shoe for a week without washing it than the product itself. Would recommend to anyone, for any reason.
