Beautiful quiet place. Very charming village!

The village of Slatina is located at the foot of the Hazmburk hill, formerly called Klepy. It is one of the oldest Czech municipalities in the Litoměřice district. The first mention of the village (Zlatina) relates to the year 1057, when Slatina is listed among the property by which Prince Spytihněv II. endowed the Church of St. Stephen, today the diocese of Litoměřice. The original inhabited buildings are made of stone and stand in a flattened circle - they form a round village square with many ponds. The village square was drained in the first half of the 20th century and a park was planted and a monument to the victims of the 1st St. of war. At that time, the village had about 500 inhabitants.
