★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stavebníkem Slatinných lázní byl lázeňský lékař dr. Paul Cartellieri. Projekt vypracoval františkolázeňský stavitel Karel Wiedermann.
Lázně byly otevřeny v roce 1864 a o pět let později rozšířeny. K zajištění dostatečného množství minerální vody ke koupelím zakoupil Cartellieri pozemky u Slatinného potoka a zachytil zde dva prameny - Železitý a Cartellieriho.
Dnes se v těchto lázních připravují především slatinné koupele. Stavba vedle lázní je mechanizovaná skládka, kde se slatina připravuje ke koupelím.
The builder of the Peat Spa was the spa doctor dr. Paul Cartellieri. The project was developed by the Franciscan builder Karel Wiedermann.
The spa was opened in 1864 and expanded five years later. To ensure a sufficient amount of mineral water for bathing, Cartellieri bought land at the Slatinný brook and captured two springs - Železitý and Cartellieri.
Today, these spas primarily prepare mud baths. The building next to the spa is a mechanized dump where peat is prepared for bathing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Při každé návštěvě Františkových Lázní vzpomínám na nejlepší slatinné koupele právě v této budově, škoda, že teď budova jen chátrá, aspoň že tato procedura je teď v Císařských lázních, i když mi připadá, že je tam méně van, kde tato procedura probíhá. Je fakt, že tato léčebná procedura je hodně náročná na přípravu slatiny a ohřátí, tak to nebude levná záležitost, ale když pomáhá!
Every time I visit Františkovy Lázně, I remember the best peat baths in this building, it's a pity that now the building is just falling into disrepair, at least that this procedure is now in Císařské lázně, although it seems to me that there are fewer vans where this procedure takes place. The fact is that this treatment procedure is very difficult to prepare peat and warm up, so it will not be a cheap affair, but if it helps!
