Místa na parkování je trochu nad tunelem nebo u západního portálu.
Tunel se pravděpodobně uzavírá, neb je opatřen kousek od obou portálů dvojicí velkých vrat. Ale teď v létě byl otevřen. Světlo! si vezměte raději sebou. Jakási instalace tu je ale byla tma (měli sme svá světla). A taky tu bylo po nedávných deštích poměrně mokro (velké kaluže přes celou šíři tunelu na východní straně) a kluzko jako v každé pro turisty neupravené štole.
Nad tunelem se dá projít a krom výhledu je tam nad portály informační tabule s detaily stavby.
For enthusiasts of railway history or various engineering and construction monuments, this can be an interesting stop. Don't expect mass traffic.
Parking spaces are a bit above the tunnel or at the western portal.
The tunnel is probably closing because it is equipped with a pair of large gates not far from both portals. But now it's open in the summer. Light! take with you instead. But some installation here was dark (we had our lights). And there was also, after recent rains, relatively wet (large puddles across the entire width of the tunnel on the east side) and slippery, as in any gallery not adapted for tourists.
You can walk above the tunnel and, in addition to the view, there is an information board above the portals with details of the building.

Jediný tunel na Severní dráze císaře Ferdinanda. Postaven v letech 1845 - 1846. Je snadné se k němu dostat, můžete si ho celý projít skrz z jednoho konce na druhý. Uprostřed tunelu svítí jedno světlo, ostatní je neosvětlené, ale ve dne to není problém. Máte-li baterku, tím lépe.
Technical monument
The only tunnel on Emperor Ferdinand's North Railway. Built between 1845 - 1846. It's easy to get to, you can go through it from one end to the other. There is one light in the middle of the tunnel, the other is unlit, but it is not a problem during the day. If you have a flashlight, the better.
