★ ★ ★ ★ ★ První česká futuristická socha Sluneční paprsek - Motocyklista (1924) byla oceněna na Mezinárodní výstavě dekorativních umění v Paříži v roce 1925. Autorem je sochař Otakar Švec.
Pěkný parčík na ulici Dornych, jemuž dominuje socha motocyklisty.
V minulosti stál v těchto místech dům, který značně chátral a tak bylo městskou částí Brno-Jih rozhodnuto, že bude stržen. V roce 2019 byl dům srovnán se zemí a od té doby byla tato plocha v nevyhovujícím stavu.
Projekt parčíku, financovala soukromá společnost parčík byl dokončen v červnu 2021
The first Czech futuristic sculpture Sunbeam - Motorcyclist (1924) was awarded at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925. The author is the sculptor Otakar Švec.
A nice park on Dornych Street, which is dominated by a statue of a motorcyclist.
In the past, there was a house in these places, which fell into disrepair, so the city district of Brno-South decided to demolish it. In 2019, the house was razed to the ground and since then the area has been in unsatisfactory condition.
The park project, funded by a private park company, was completed in June 2021
