Socha byla vystavena v roce 2012 k připomenutí 50. výročí od druhého místa na MS v Chile, jejímž autorem je Josef Nálepa, významný český akademický sochař. Každá dlaždice slávy má uprostřed bronzové hvězdy vylitou stopu bosé nohy každého z deseti spoluhráčů Josefa Masopusta a jedna s otiskem ruky brankáře Ivo Viktora a jejich podpisy. Další jména, slavné jedenáctky: útočníci Ladislav Vízek, Zdeněk Nehoda, Rudolf Kučera a Josef Jelínek, záložníci Josef Masopust, Miroslav Gajdůšek a Ján Geleta, krajní obránce Ladislav Novák a Jan Fiala, střední obránce Jiří Čadek. Socha je bronzová v životní velikosti na mramorovém podstavci s děkovnou plaketou. Okolo je příjemný, hezky upravený plácek s lavičkami. Dostupnost je sem pomocí MHD autobusy 131 a 907, zastávka Juliska, nebo třeba autem na konec slepé ulice Pod Juliskou, kde se dá zaparkovat a po pás schodech k této soše před hlavním vchodem fotbalového a atletického stadionu vyběhnout. A statue of Josef Masopust with eleven stars in the form of tiles of fame with his name and the names of his teammates. The sculpture was exhibited in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the second place at the World Championships in Chile, created by Josef Nálepa, a prominent Czech academic sculptor. Each tile of fame has in the middle of a bronze star a cast footprint of each of the ten teammates Josef Masopust and one with the imprint of the goalkeeper Ivo Viktor and their signatures.
