Lokalita nebyla vybrána náhodou - Masaryk rád trávil volné chvíle v prezidentském zámečku v Lánech, který byl dostupný po Buštěhradské dráze právě z nádraží Dejvice. V něm se dodnes dochoval Masarykův salonek, i příjezdová rampa pro prezidentovu limuzínu, zřízená v roce 1927, kdy bylo Masarykovi 77 let. The site was not picked up by accident - Masaryk spent his free time in the presidential mansion in Lány, which was accessible via the Buštěhrad railway just from the Dejvice train station.
