I recommend it with a clear conscience to all Poles. I have keratoconus. In Poland, doctors made a fool of me for years, first saying that nothing was happening with my eyes, and after the finally obtained, after 20 (!) Years of suffering, the diagnosis claimed that it was too late for anything and they were still trying to blame me for saying that like I neglected it. I lost many years and spent a lot of money on unnecessary, paid PLN 300 "check" visits that did not bring anything. A trip to the Czech Republic was the best that happened to me in my life. The choice fell on Somich because of very affordable prices, half lower than in PL. After ONE visit there was already a plan what to do next. Dr. Studeny explained everything to me and he carried out the treatments (MyoRing and cross linking). He saved my eye from a corneal transplant. I started with 5% and ran into walls and people. 4 years after surgery I have 18-20% vision. It may seem that it is still not enough, but for someone who was practically blind and only saw the light it is sooooo much. They also do cheap and very cheap corneal transplants - in PL it is impossible for legal reasons. A very professional approach to the patient. Specifics. You do not have to pay any deposits as in PL. Low prices. Extensive experience in ophthalmology. I had tests that I never did in PL. It was the Czechs who first transplanted the cornea and have extensive experience in keratoconus, a disease that Polish doctors cannot even diagnose. You can get along in English at the clinic. I also used the help of the consulate. Nowadays, everything can be done. Do not hesitate, do not wait until it gets worse. If I had found them earlier I'd have saved 60% of my sight. Unfortunately, I listened and blindly believed Polish doctors. Don't make my mistake.
