Ski rent next to the parking and the ski lift. Good service.

During weekends probably not the best place for skying. Been there twice and always too much people.

Wonderful place for snowboarding and skiing. Friendly people, lots of tracks and lifts and restos.

I would not recommend hiring skis from here. The staff were rude and not interested in providing anything close to customer service. If you have a problem, they just shrug their shoulders & indicate that it is too bad. While I was there customers also commented about how rude & disorganized they were. I think this business needs to have a big drop in sales & then maybe they will wake up - or maybe they won't. As security, they want to keep a drivers licence or health insurance card but then you are driving illegally or don't have your health insurance card if you get injured. Otherwise you have to pay a Euro200 deposit in cash only. They don't take credit cards at all so can't block the Euro200 like a hire car company does. There is an ATM not too far away, but it only gives Czech Krona and they will only give you back what you put down as deposit so if you are staying on the German side & don't have Euro200 on you, you are stuck afterwards with a whole lot of Krona that you have to change back. They were not interested when I pointed this out. The rental area is very small and there is no system or proper place to leave your shoes while you ski. They just sort of get shoved under the benches If you rent for more than one day, you can't leave your skis there overnight to collect the next day - you must take them away with you. I would have thought that having some staff who could speak English would be helpful. Obviously Czech & German are more important here, but there were a lot of Dutch & some British who were struggling. All this would not be happening if they believed in customer service.
