P	Pavel Vávra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádherný kostel. Zvuk varhan má hezkou barvu. Vevnitř je dobrá akustika a příjemný chlad. Beautiful church. The sound of the organ has a nice color. Inside is good acoustics and pleasant chill.

I have beautiful childhood memories of this church and I was baptized as a baby. Then we moved out and last year I went there after 52 years.

Church of st. Catherine was built on the site of the original wooden church from 1327. In 1719 it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. In 1815 the tower was added.

V letech 1717-1719 proběhla rozsáhlá přestavba, provedená italským stavitelem Petrem Pavlem Columbanim z Roudnice, při níž kostel dostal svou dnešní podobu. V roce 1815 byla ještě přistavěna věž. Barokní trojlodní stavba s hranolovou věží na severní straně je doplněna dvěma postranními čtvercovými kaplemi. Kostel má křížovou klenbu. Kazatelna je od sochaře Matyáše Bernarda Brauna. The pulpit in the church is from the sculptor Matthias Bernard Braun. Another columnist sculptor Emmanuel Max is the author of a Madonna with a Child placed against the pulpit. Postaven byl na místě dřívějšího, tehdy ještě dřevěného kostelíku a dnešní podobu získal při přestavbě v letech 1717 - 1719, v roce 1815 byla přistavěna věž. Kousek od kostela stojí fara a nádherné sousoší Kalvárie z roku 1740. Church of st. Catherine of Alexandria stands in a park not far from the castle. It was built on the site of the former, then wooden church and today's appearance gained during the reconstruction in 1717 - 1719, in 1815 was added tower. Not far from the church is a rectory and a magnificent sculptural group of Calvary from 1740.
D	Der Wanderer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort. Mir gefallen vor allem die kleinen Denkmäler rund um die Kirche. A very nice and quiet place. I especially like the small monuments around the church.
