Zde si každý může načerpat tolik síly co mu k životu vystačí aby neupadl do nástrah toho zlého...
Here, everyone can recharge as much as he can to avoid falling into the pitfalls of the evil ...

A small church in the center of old Krumlov. It stands out among the dense buildings of 2-4 storey houses with its high pointed dome. St. Josht's Church was founded around 1330 and is located on the embankment of the Vltava River in Cesky Krumlov. The building is a two-story temple with a towering bell tower. Initially, the temple was dedicated to the Holy Trinity and was given by the head of the city to Protestant believers who carried out charitable activities in the city, caring for the sick. But after the death of the elder, the church went to the Catholics, they renovated it in the Baroque style and renamed it to the Church of St. Josht. However, the temple did not serve its religious purpose for a long time, already at the end of the 18th century it turned into a residential building. Until now, the temple is given for commercial purposes.

Špitál s kostelem sv. Jošta založil kolem roku 1330 krumlovský vladař Petr I. z Rožmberka. Špitál poskytoval základní zaopatření pro nemocné a chudé obyvatele města. V letech 1594 - 1599 byl architektem Dominikem Comettou původní kostel přestavěn a současně vybudována nová věž.
Hospital with the church of St. Jošta was founded around 1330 by Krumlov ruler Petr I. of Rožmberk. The hospital provided basic care for the sick and poor of the city. In the years 1594 - 1599, the architect Dominik Cometta rebuilt the original church and at the same time built a new tower.

A proper church would do something about the animal torture across the street. Bears are kept by the town in the tiniest piece of ground. It’s torture and our god wouldn’t agree with this.

A deconsecrated old Protestant church that has great views from the tower. The church itself was converted into apartments a very long time ago, however the tower can still be accessed by the public and gives some impressive views of the city.
