 I like to go here, they have a wide selection from building materials to household items. Prices here for a city shop are affordable. Pleasant service.

There are a couple of nice staff here that do their best. Also there are some staff here that treat customers very badly.
It is like a throwback to communist times.
If you are buying here then be aware that their prices are higher than everywhere else.
Also, should you find that the goods they have sold you are not fit for purpose, expect to be treated as an inconvenience.
I experienced some very unpleasant and unhelpful behavious from some of the staff here. I wrote to the boss. He called me and after giving me some guff, hung up on me.
There are two other zelezarstvi stores in Hranice. Try them first.
