Tickets machine doesn't get paper money- awful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m looking for the bar off of this storied square that I had beers with my Mom and brother, both deceased now, back in 1985. This wasn’t it but I am so happy I came in here. I had a few small Urquell pilsners, then elected to order this amazing Goulash. I’ve been living in Budapest and this not the same. This is what I expected. Dark rich gravy topping off tender beef chunks and lovely sliced dumplings layered with potato pancakes. It was so delicious! Because this kitchen priced itself beyond measure I went for the strudel, served hot, with a cream sauce to the side and a scoop of rich yellow vanilla ice cream. With a flat white coffee I was in heaven. Hope this helps, as indulgent as my description is I promise you will deeply enjoy the food, the ambiance and the service. Although it was Christmas Day, there was zero holiday music playing. That was just fine as well.
