J	João Ferreira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is solid. Great roasted potatoes. Meat was good but not excellent. Cheesy cover music throughout, and ads for some terrible looking beer spa on the tv kinda spoiled the experience a bit. Staff was professional.

Shashlik (pork one) is very good and it comes with very nice salad and fries, the portion is enough for hungry big man. We visited the place twice during our 3 days long vacation because liked the food and would definitely visit exactly this place our next visit to Karlovy Vary.

For 400czk for the veal "saslik" I expected great value. Meat was at best average. Too much salt in the salad, tasteless sauce, spongy potatoes. I would not return second time.

Definitely get at least one beer: refreshing and prepares the palate for food. Borsch came with super yummy barley bread and thinly sliced smoked lard. Soak the lard in the hot soup and eat it when it's became transparent with chunks of garlic and/or onions, just writing this makes me hungry again... I never tried buckwheat groats before but this one I thought was excellent: not too grueley, not too dry, just right and well-seasoned. We already know schaschlik and pelmeni before and these did not disappoint, yummy!
R	Radim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted to go to another place but they were full so we decided to go to Staroslovanska kuchyne. The food was ok, maybe little pricey for what it was. You can definitely get cheaper meals in the other restaurants in the same area. As for the looks of food, you can see it on the pictures. Otherwise they have their own beer which is 14 Degrees strong and tastes all right. When we entered the restaurant the smell of charcoal wood was very nice. What I find strange is that the restaurant has quite strong opinions on the google reviews they don’t like. Instead of taking the feedback they reply to everything which is not a 5 star review.
E	Eric J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here on a whim because the picture of meat skewer by the fire looked appetizing. It turned out to be an excellent idea. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. So much so that we returned 2 days latter to try more things on the menu. The meats were juicy, the potatoes and salad perfect. Try the lamb skewer! I loved it. Definitely a place worth trying
