Man darf in dem Gebiet auf tschechischer Seite nach behördlicher Anordnung die befestigten Wege nicht mehr verlassen. Die Wanderwege sind dementsprechend nicht mehr begehbar und an der angegebene Position ist nur sumpfiger Wald. This "sight" is rather sends the tourists into the desert. It is forbidden to leave the fortified paths in the area on the Czech side after official order. The trails are therefore no longer accessible and at the specified position is only marshy forest.

J	Jiří Velíšek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jako všude v Novohradkách, i tady vládne pohoda. Sem se určitě vyplatí zajít, už jen cesta je zážitkem. Příroda a místní klid doslova dodávají energii. Doporučuji výlet na celý den, odtud třeba na Kamenec, Myslivnu, k pramenům Lužnice, nebo třeba v létě do úžasně osvěžující vody Jiřické nádrže. V Pohoří na Šumavě je parkoviště, odkud lze vyrazit jak pěšky, tak i na kole. As everywhere in Novohradky, there is peace here as well. It is definitely worth going here, only the trip is an experience. Nature and local peace literally supply energy. I recommend a trip for the whole day, from there for example to Kamenec, Myslivna, to the springs of the Lužnice, or for example in the summer to the wonderfully refreshing water of the Jiřice reservoir. There is a parking lot in the Šumava Mountains, from where you can go both on foot and by bike.

R	Roman Sukop on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Přibližně v těchto místech prý "mohl zabíjet" své oběti z řad uprchlíků na západ, Hubert Pilčík. Tvrdí se, že sice měl lidi po válce převádět do Německa (tehdy NSR), vyloženě na Šumavě, (kde jej nikdo nikdy neviděl), zato tady jej viděli svědci často. Toto místo prý hlavně mělo sloužit ke schůzkám s lidmi, kteří chtěli utéct na západ, a Pilčík tady měl doslova zaručenou anonymitu. V jeho domě na Šumavě se našel zápisník, kde bylo zapsáno téměř 200 schůzek "na Stodůleckém vrchu". Protože se po zatčení ve věznici oběsil a odmítal vypovídat, nikdo už pravdu (ani přesné místo, ani počet skutečných obětí) nezjistí. Pokud by ovšem skutečně vraždil "v těchto místech", poněkud by to snižovalo dobrou pověst této konkrétní oblasti... Hubert Pilčík allegedly "could have killed" his refugee victims to the west in these places.
