★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V srpnu 1992 vlašimský zámek vzhořel - požár zničil celé jeho jižní křídlo. Později prošel zámek mnohými rekonstrukcemi, které skončily v roce 2005. A právě v jižním křídle zámku má v současnosti sídlo Střední odborná škola a Střední odborné učiliště Vlašim. Musí být nádhera navštěvovat školu v tak krásném a historicky významném prostředí. Škola byla založena v roce 1958 jako tradice zemědělského školství na Benešovsku a dnes je jedním z největších vzdělávacích zařízení ve Středočeském kraji - počet žáků dosahuje přibližně 700.
In August 1992, the Vlašim castle burned down - a fire destroyed it´s entire southern wing. Later, the chateau underwent many reconstructions, which ended in 2005. And it is exactly in the southern wing of the chateau where the Secondary Vocational Schoolof Vlašim is currently located. It must be awesome to attend school in such a beautiful and historically important environment. The school was founded in 1958 as a tradition of agricultural education in the Benešov region and today it is one of the largest educational establishments in the Central Bohemia Region - the number of pupils is approximately 700.
