We had a concert here a few times, the atmosphere was pleasant and not very much acoustically.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bělostně zářící novogotický kostel vybudovaný v letech 1886–1888 na rohu ulice Karla IV. tvoří jednu z dominant Senovážného náměstí. Budova stojí v areálu bývalého klášterního komplexu Kongregace Milosrdných sester svatého Karla Boromejského, v němž stál rovněž kostel a sirotčinec. Jde o jednolodní stavbu s jednou malou věží, sakristií a kruchtou. Oltář byl umístěn v jižní části budovy. Stavba byla navržena v beuronském stylu benediktinem Gislenem Béthunem a její stěny i strop zdobí bohaté především rostlinné a geometrické motivy.
Před zdí kostela stojí barokní socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého vytvořená budějovickým sochařem Leopoldem Hueberem kolem roku 1773 a která stávala původně před Pražskou branou. Letopočet 1888 na podstavci připomíná její přemístění a renovaci.
Brightly glowing neo-Gothic church was built between 1886-1888 as a part of the complex of the monastery on the Charles IV. Street´s corner. The building stands on the site of the former convent of the Congregation of the Merciful Nuns of St. Charles Borromeo, which also included a church and orphanage. It is a single-nave structure with one small tower, a sacristy and a back choir, the altar was located in the southern part of the building. The building was designed in Beuron art style by Benedictine Gislen Béthun, and it´s walls and ceiling are decorated mostly with rich plant and geometric motifs.
In front of the church side wall there is a beautiful Baroque statue of St. Jan Nepomuk created by local sculptor Leopold Hueber around 1773 and which previously stood in front of the Prague Gate. The date 1886 on the pedestal points to it´s relocation and renovation.
White-shining neo-Gothic church built in 1886–1888 on the corner of Charles IV Street. forms one of the dominants of Senovážné náměstí. The building stands in the area of the former monastery complex of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo, in which there was also a church and an orphanage. The building was designed in the Beuron style by Benedictine Gislen Béthun and its walls and ceiling are decorated with rich floral and geometric motifs.
