Provedl nás, vše ukázal, vysvětlil a poutavým výkladem nám vyprávěl o historii sklářství v kraji, o rodině Abelů, o významných osobnostech, které se nějakým způsobem zapsali do dějin Šumavského kraje, ale i období první republiky, o válce... Takže pokud se chcete dozvědět o historii tohoto nádherného kraje, zajeďte si do Železné Rudy a rovnou do Muzea Šumavy. Yesterday my friend and I visited the Šumava Museum. He guided us, showed everything, explained everything and told us with an engaging explanation about the history of glassmaking in the region, the Abel family, important personalities who somehow entered the history of the Šumava region, but also the period of the First Republic, the war ... if you want to learn about the history of this beautiful region, drive to Železná Ruda and straight to the Šumava Museum.

Vstupné je spíše symbolické a pokud si chcete odnést zážitek v podobě fotografií, tak vám na to stačí 20 Kč. Enjoyment. The history of Šumava is breathtaking. Soustřeďuje se hlavně na historii Železné Rudy města a blízkého okolí. Jako mne se muzeum líbilo I když má jen pár místnosti. Taková pohoda na půl hodinky. Muzeum se nachází v Železné Rude centrum tak spíše na konci hlavní silnice tak asi 3 - 4 minuty pěšky od kostela hvězdou. Od látkový zastávky Centrum je to tak do deseti minut pěšky. The Šumava Museum in Železná Ruda stop Centrum is smaller. But convenient and richly furnished. It focuses mainly on the history of Železná Ruda and the surrounding area. I liked the museum, even though it only has a few rooms. Such cool for half an hour.
