★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again, Albert! You'll not fool me a second time! Dear friends, I have just bought and cooked a piece of Czech beef from Albert that was labelled as beef steak. In spite of my best efforts (and I am no amateur in the kitchen), I must admit that the steak in question was the worst piece of beef I have ever purchased in my life. It was so tough as to be completely inedible. I have spent many minutes contemplating how it could be possible that a modern supermarket might offer such an old, tough cow for sale on their shelves. The only answer that I could come up with was that perhaps a new, young staff had designs on turning me into a vegetarian, a nefarious plot indeed! But upon further consideration I have decided that it must have been a mistake. This piece of cowhide was shipped to Albert as beef steak instead of being directed to its proper destination: the leather craftsmen. If it had reached its intended destination, it might have been made into a serviceable wallet or a fine pair of patent leather shoes. It was merely an oversight. Nevertheless, dear friends, I advise you to avoid steaks from Albert for the foreseeable future, at least until this error has been corrected.
