Beautiful early Gothic church, which is part of the monastery area. Agnes from the mid-13th century. Right next to the church. St. Salvator and from the other side bands of st. Barbara and the foundations of the Chapel of St. Michael. All examples of beautiful early Gothic, in the vicinity of beautifully landscaped gardens with an exhibition of modern art.

The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in the grounds of the St. Agnes Monastery was established as one of the first buildings and the most important church of the monastery. The original Romanesque-Gothic double nave church of St. František has been preserved only in a torsional way and has been completed in modern times. It is not usually accessible. According to the church, the surrounding locality got its name - Na Františku. During the reign of Charles IV. there were extensive building modifications to the entire monastery complex. After 1978, when the entire monastery complex was declared a National Cultural Monument, the individual buildings of the monastery were gradually made accessible. The last was the church of St. Francis, in 1986. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in the Convent of St. Agnes area was established as one of the first buildings and the most important church of the monastery complex. The original Romanesque-Gothic double-nave church of St. František survived only torsionally and was later modernized. It is not usually accessible. The surrounding area "Na Františku" was named according to the church. During the reign of Charles IV. there were extensive structural modifications of the entire area of ​​the monastery. After 1978, when the entire monastery complex was declared a National Monument, the monastery's buildings were gradually accessed. The church of St. Francis of Assisi was renovated as last, namely in 1986.

Passing by and looking into it, it is a convent of centuries. Later, it was rearranged. The whole garden and the statue of the garden are very beautiful. It is recommended to come in and enjoy it.

The ensemble of sacral buildings was raised from the ruins in the post-war period. Surveys and documentation revealed a number of building remains of early Gothic architecture, were preserved, restored and completed. The restored spaces were gradually made accessible, this one was one of the last. However, work continues on the premises of the monastery.
