When visiting Jindřichův Hradec, we thought about where to go for lunch, and since we know Švejk from several other cities, the choice was clear. Unfortunately, the Jindřichův Hradec restaurant turned these experiences upside down. I describe only what happened during our more than an hour-long visit: - the first question from the waitress about our wishes after about 15 minutes, when she had passed us "empty" three times before, - We received the menu and drinks after about half an hour, - There were about seven German guests sitting at the opposite table, they received only two meals on the table. When, after almost an hour, the guest demanded payment: "Zahlen Sie bitte", the waitress replied, "Well, the schnitzel is already being done to you," - three families came during our visit and after about 20 minutes of lack of interest from the staff, three families left the restaurant again, - the next table got a menu and a drink in a matter of minutes, but the waiter forgot to mention that some dishes are no longer there. The waitress told the guests after half an hour when she came to ask about their wishes, - The waitress carries two beers to the table, one of which overflows the edge. However, she is very clean and did not want to have a dirty floor, so she lifted the overflowing pint over the other to flow into it, - another table, with six people sitting, received two meals during our visit. I don't know, maybe they only ordered two guests, but I wouldn't bet much on it, - we ended our visit after the bartender told the guests at the next table that they had not yet started preparing their food - they said they had made an order an hour and a half ago. It should be noted that from about half of our visit, the restaurant was basically only newly arrived guests, so the wait could not be caused by the preparation of previous orders. So the only thing left in our memory is the thought of how our stomachs hurt - children from hunger, us older from laughter. Because you just don't see a comedy that lasted more than an hour somewhere. However, I am not sure if this is the way the restaurant should present itself.

We were with a wife and a 2.5 year old son. The stay completely met our expectations. The room was clean, the dinner really excellent and the extremely nice staff. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and almost invisible. Tartar and homemade salad a complete delicacy and at the end great desserts. The world in Jindřichův Hradec is nice.

We were very connected in the U Šmiků restaurant. The food is very good and Pilsner beer is top notch. Nice business.
