A beautiful monument - originally a Baroque building from 1773, which was rebuilt in the Classicist style after a fire in 1840, it has been beautifully renovated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavý stručný výklad historie židovské obce je plusem. Uvnitř nic, co by bylo historicky zajímavého, nebo dobového. Vstup do jedné místnosti synagogy za 20 Kč je na pováženou.
An interesting brief explanation of the history of the Jewish community is a plus. Inside, nothing that would be historically interesting or contemporary. Entrance to one room of the synagogue for 20 CZK is a consideration.

It is a beautiful synagogue in Jičín, which is, however, only accessible when organizing some events. Nice stained glass and interesting quite nice building from outside. It is a part of the Jewish part of the city that is now used mainly for cultural events

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malá, ale nádherná synagoga "vesnického" typu, skvěle zrestaurovaná. Své si zde najde laik i člověk, který o problematice něco ví. Aron ha-kodeš má uvnitř nápis - vzkaz zhotovitele. Další zajímavostí je nalezená geniza. Velký dík patří slečně průvodkyni, která nás provázela 25. 7. 2020.
A small but beautiful synagogue of the "village" type, perfectly restored. A layman and a person who knows something about the issue will find theirs here. Aron ha-kodesh has an inscription inside - a message from the contractor. Another attraction is the found geniza. Many thanks to the guide who accompanied us on July 25, 2020.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Synagoga byla citlivě opravena a určitě stojí za návštěvu. Součástí je i průvodce, výklad je veden kultivovanou formou. Můžete pak zajít na kávu do Židovská 100.
The synagogue has been sensitively repaired and is definitely worth a visit. A guide is also included, the interpretation is guided in a cultivated form. You can then go for a coffee to Židovská 100.
