In the Synagogue I visited a concert within the choir festival. Five star rating acoustics, atmosphere and singing performance.

Beautiful synagogue breathes history. Next to it is a rich gallery, in the beautiful premises of the original Jewish school. Everything intensified by the beautiful interpretation of the guide, such is the dream of each operator of a similar monument.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paní průvodkyně velice zasvěceně a lidsky podala výklad o Židech, jejich zvycích a kultuře. Synagoga je pěkná, i když ne tak historická jako treba u nás v Kolíně. Byli jsme pak ještě na nedalekém židovském hřbitově, opět skvělý výklad a zajímavé historické místo.
The guide, very knowledgeable and human, gave an account of the Jews, their customs and culture. The synagogue is nice, albeit not as historic as in Kolín. We were still in the nearby Jewish cemetery, again great interpretation and interesting historical site.

A jewel of architecture XIX. century, a rare example of an undestroyed synagogue in eastern Bohemia. Eternal damage to the destroyed Jewish quarter around, of which only a few houses remain.
