★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Terra ceramics studio is a wonderful place to explore your creativity. I've been going there regularly for about two years, and I always look forward to it. It's not a big studio, but it has everything you need. Five wheels, two kilns, a BIG work table, and lots of glazes and tools and aprons.
More importantly, the staff is great. Helpful, kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, they make you want to come back.
Terra offers classes and workshops, and there are open studio hours you can enjoy once you've gotten a bit of experience.
For me, working with clay is like meditation. It's just you and the clay, and everything else kind of disappears.
Or... maybe I just like to play in the mud.

Great atmosphere, great small community of creative people, lectures for all levels of experience. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an amazing school in the center of Prague, very close to Náměstí Míru square and subway station. You can learn how to model clay or porcellain, how to color it and realize your ideas. You can find great teachers (they speak Czech, French, English, Italian, and Russian) a lovely and friendly atmosphere. You can have private lessons.
It is very relaxing and strongly recommended!
