★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location but there simply isn't much too see there. The exhibitions are rather repetitive (identical ones can be found in other neighbouring countries), and I just wish the museum displayed distinctive things that'd be strictly indicative of Prague and the city's rich history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent history museum. Mostly covers natural history from pre historic to the 1950s. Mostly centered around life in and around Prague. Pots, pans, articles of clothing, diet, etc. Decent size museum. Covers a good amount of space. Missing the development of the city and ownership of it over time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fine museum about the history of Prague from pre-history to the 1700s. After you have read about Czech history, taken the tours, walked the the narrow streets, and gotten a feel for the terrain, you will want to see this museum. It nicely ties together the various cultural, religious, and historical themes of the city so that you will understand more clearly the forces that shaped this beautiful city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Provides a comprehensive history of the city. If you do a brief reading at each exhibit you would probably spend about an hour. There is an admission fee. Only 3 stars because it made me less curious about Prague history than I originally was as the content on the reading panels was not very interesting and not chronologically curated as a whole. Wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice museum which cover Prague history from prehistory to now. First part of the exhibition seems to be have been renovated recently, and is great. The second part looks older and is not as great, I hope they'll be renovate it too. They don't speak about modern history, too bad.
Staff is nice and try to explain things, but their english is limited so it's kind of hard to communicate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum was quite nice although they maybe need to do some refurbishment in some rooms. I really liked the part about the start of Prague but I was disappointed to see that they stopped before our time. I was expecting to see every piece of the history of Prague. The staff of the museum was also very nice even though they did not speak English. They tried to explain us things and they really did everything to make our visit interesting. It was really nice of them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small and modest museum. You can spend around 1 - 1.5 hour. There were not so many visitors so it was quiet. The entrance fee is 150kc for adult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is small and underwhelming. It's not very welcoming, every exhibition room is behind closed doors(literally). It offers a history of the city of Prague but doesn't make it fun or interesting. The information is in Czech and English and is concise, I would say this is more of a locals museum or very interested tourists.
