Je historicky prvním pražským železničním mostem přes Vltavu a v současné době druhým vůbec nejstarším pražským mostem přes Vltavu. Do roku 1910 to byl dokonce nejdelší viadukt ve střední Evropě. Měří 1100 m a má 99 oblouků. V trojúhelníkové části železničních tratí mezi oblouky Negrelliho viaduktu vzniklo po II. světové válce autobusové nádraží Praha Florenc. Stejně jako Karlův most, přežil za plného provozu pražskou povodeň v létě 2002. Byl naplánován s takovou rezervou, kterou ani dosud zřejmě největší povodeň nepřekročila. Generální rekonstrukce Negrelliho viaduktu začala v roce 2017, a měla by být dokončena v roce 2020 s plánovaným rozpočtem 350 milionů korun z pražského rozpočtu. Pod většinou oblouků počítá s umístěním kaváren i obchodů. Negrelliho viadukt (nazývaný též Karlínský viadukt, dříve obecně viadukt Společnosti státní dráhy) je železniční most přes Vltavu a viadukt v Karlíně, který spojuje Masarykovo nádraží v Praze přes ostrov Štvanici s Bubny, pojmenovaný po svém staviteli Aloisi Negrellim. V roce 2017 prošel důkladnou a povedenou rekonstrukcí. Jediné co mě osobně mrzí, že kvůli rekonstrukci zmizela pivnice u Franty, která byla u autobusového nádraží Florenc. Ale určitě stojí za bližší prozkoumání.
The Negrelli Viaduct (also called the Karlín Viaduct, formerly the Viaduct of the State Railway Company) is a railway bridge over the Vltava and the Karlín Viaduct, which connects Masaryk Railway Station in Prague via the island of Štvanice with Bubny, named after its builder Alois Negrelli. In 2017, it underwent a thorough and successful reconstruction. The only thing I personally regret is that due to the reconstruction, the pub near Franta, which was at the Florenc bus station, has disappeared. But it's definitely worth exploring.

The viaduct is currently under much needed reconstruction, which should restore it to its former beauty. Karlin wouldn't be the same without this iconic structure. Long live the Negrilli Viaduct!
