A nice church with local ornaments (including mosaicas at the floor, etc.).

Nice place to visit, entrance is free of charge. If you are nearby definitely come in but coming there just for the church is definitely and overestimation of its landmark value. Greta but not awesome

Most beautiful church in Prague, one of my favorite. You go speechless once you walk in

it’s the main church of the Czech Orthodox Church and a memorial to the heroes of the Heydrich terror. In 1942, the priest and bishop Gorazd offered a hiding place to seven Czechoslovak paratroopers who were sent from the UK. Two of them assassinated Reinhardt Heydrich, the acting protector of the Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren. It was built in the 30s of the 18th century as a Baroque Roman Catholic Church of St.. Karel Boromejský

Contrary to some comments here, this is not the church where the paratroopers from operation Anthropoid were besieged and perished. This church is in Karlin, Prague 8, and it is a Catholic church. The final days of Jozef Gabcik, Jan Kubis, and other heroes were spent at the Orthodox church in Resslova St. in Prague 2. / Honor to the fallen!

What and amazing place in the middle of such a bustling city. It's beautiful and such a place to seek a greater self.

Three-nave neo-Romanesque basilica of consecration in 1863. One of the biggest churches in Prague. The inner decoration are stunning. Definitely a must see. On the ceiling you can see depicted saints.

Beautiful and peaceful church which is worth visiting. It’s beautifully decorated and you will most likely have the place to yourself.
