★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for the residence permit and yes it's a foreign office in which most people only speak basic English, for the exception of one officer that was somewhat rude, most of the officers are trying to help you. The forms are in English so that's helpful.
Just make sure you have all the documents you need so that you don't have to make more than one trip (I found the website helpful and with all the information you need). The process is quick, just 10 minutes and you're out of there.
FYI - if you have to pay any penalty or fees, they don't have a POS but there's an ATM nearby. Overall it was kind of difficult to make myself understood but after that it's a fairly quick process.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right now their hours are limited because of the lockdowns. Expect to wait outside and wear something warm incase your standing for a while. I got there at 2pm and there was already a decently line. Though I was all seen and finished within an hour. Some officers speak english and if the officer that is assiting you doesnt speak english, they'll bring another one over who can to translate for you. If you are registering and are late to register, there is a 500kc cash fee. They do not accept card!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know a 5 stars review in here must be shocking but listen.
Last time I came here was on 2017 and it was a nightmare: people were not nice at all, they didn't speak English and you had to bring your own pen. It took me the entire morning and it was stressful af.
Just went now and no line at all, people spoke decent English (at least good enough to have a reasonable understanding) and they were really nice. What in 2017 took the whole morning (like 5 hours) now it took literally 15 min.
They asked for some COVID proof and i just showed my 2 vaccinations from other country and it was no problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were incredibly patient with us and made a real effort to help us with our problem.
I see in the comments that experiences vary greatly, but everyone we encountered took the time to understand the problem and was really polite. We tried speaking Czech with our limited skill but I had a person on the phone who was translating when it became technical. Policeman agreed to take that call, and took the time to explain everything so there is no miscommunication.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience was great! It all went smoothly as I prepared all required documents and went there early. The police officers treated me nicely even though I didn’t speak Czech. They tried to speak English as much as they could. In particular, the police lady who was in charge of my registration was so kind and polite. Although she couldn’t speak fluent English, she made her effort to explain things to me which I really appreciated it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They must have thousands of visitors registrating everyday, the set-up is amazingly. They are very organised, place is clean, comfortable. You take a number, just like Baskin-Robbins to get an ice cream in the United States. My hats off to the citizen police.. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The police officers are extremely rude, don’t speak English (it’s the foreign office, why aren’t they bilingual like majority of other countries?), and don’t even recognize their own official forms for EU citizens. Absolute disaster and a joke. 0/5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give 0, if I was able to. They are absolutely horrible. They don't speak English and their behaviour is terrific... They cursed at me because I didn't know how to speak Czech. I'm at a foreigners police department, why would I know Czech? The man who was supposed to do his job was so bad and acted like an animal. If I knew a way how to report him, I would. I ended up with 0 progress at the end and all they did was to waste my time and curse and shout. Never ever go there. These Czech policemen act like animals. 0/10.
