Best stay ever

Had a fab stay here and intend to stay again next time

I’m in love with The Emerald! Highly recommend. Especially recommend for those people who love fashion, art and aesthetics. ❤️

I had a lovely stay.The prominent position of the hotel, which is right in the heart of Old Town.Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely will be back.

Superb location, room themes I have never seen before. Definitely worth the visit. Note that it is not a regular hotel, rather an apartment house. On-site parking is not available though.

Could be amazing! First the positives, we stayed in room magnetude and it has a beautiful rustic look with arched brick ceilings and a good quality functional kitchen that has a coffee machine. The bathroom is a decent size with a powerful shower. Little details like the historic book, old style hat and old diagram of the human anatomy are a nice touch. Check-in was a breeze using a smart code system to obtain keys. Location is in the heart of old town and you will be a short walk to a few of Pragues very popular tourist spots and some great restaurants. Electrical fittings are fab and really added to the feel of the room. Unfortunatly the rest is not so great and to me it appears they have tried to mask cutting corners and being cheap with the rustic and vintage look. Firstly the horrid smell of damp which i suspect is due to the bathroom not having adequate ventilation or sealing around shower, it is a very unpleasant enviroment to sleep and relax in although it appears clean it gave the feel of it being dirty with the offensive musty smell lingering. The bed was a small to standard double with a very firm mattress likewise with the linen and made for a very basic sleep. Although coffee and tea making facilities are provided no milk was. Smell of greasy food coming from extract fans from restaurant below was not great and we had to choose from the smell of mold or grease (we had the fan on to keep the air moving and feeling fresher). Lack of television was a disappointment and so too was the cheap feel of the cutlery, hair dryer and shampoo / conditioner and the small basic bath towels. Although i did like the parquet and other wooden flooring it would have been nice to step out of bed onto something a little softer like a rug. Somewhere to unpack luggage instead of the floor would also be handy. Finally the view from this room looks horrible facing other windows and walls all round overlooking a littered roof and restaurant outdoor seating area. I would have loved to rate this place higher and would have given a 4 if it was not for the smell of damp or even a 5 if the other issues were addressed.

Wow, they did a great job renovating these apartments. Very tastefully done. We stayed with a family of four and had a nice stay. It was a bit warm in the rooms so additional fans would be welcome.

My wife and I stayed here for one night (06 Nov 2018) on an impromptu visit. I loved the place as it was close to the Staromestska subway station, multiple eatery options, the hop-on hop-off bus stop, and walking distance to quite a few tourist attractions. The high tech key system was very east to use. The room was clean and nicely decorated. This is an older building, so no elevator. My wife found the stairway kind of creepy, but loved it aside from that.
