★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small both in scale and size, a typical local brewery, offering more details about technology than history. The guided tour is informative and the guide is nice and attentive. Bring warm clothes as the lagering cellar is really cold. The small sample tasting at the end is just enough to raise your attention to the local beers, which are quite good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biggest disappointment at our holiday. Quite non-hoppy and volumeless beer served to us in Kozel glass and I also saw someone drinking from Bernard glass :) . Bunch of locals (guess they were the workers of the brewery) sitting next to us and non stop swearing vulgarly... What a great potential they hold but the way they waste it..Unbelievable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with much of what others have written. Very little beer selection (2 types) and it's priced higher than elsewhere. I have never had such a tiny portion of food (outside of taster menus or gourmet places) and staff were not particularly friendly. Despite the lovely atmosphere, I can honestly say it's the worst restaurant I've been to in the whole of Czechia, which is a real pity because, on the whole, dining in this country is outstanding.
