★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und einladend eingerichtet. Der Besitzer und seine Frau betreiben das Restaurant zu zweit. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und unser Essen wurde schnell geliefert. Das tschechische Fassbier, die Suppen und die Hauptgerichte waren ein Gaumenschmaus. Das Fleisch war zart und die Soße in einer ausgefallenen, interessanten Gewürzkombination. Die Suppen kann man sich auch in Flaschen abfüllen lassen und mitnehmen.
Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
 The restaurant is cozy and inviting. The owner and his wife run the restaurant as a couple. We received a very friendly welcome and our food was delivered quickly. The Czech draft beer, the soups and the main dishes were a feast for the palate. The meat was tender and the sauce had a fancy, interesting combination of spices. The soups can also be bottled and taken away.
I can warmly recommend the restaurant.

U Routů is a small-ish family-run restaurant with quirky opening hours and smooth, attentive service.
While the meals are mostly true classics widely offered in pretty much all Czech pubs, it feels that every meal U Routů is somehow, in some way, superior.
Be it simple sautéed chicken breast that's succulent yet boasts a sizzling crust; or fruit dumplings, thin-walled and chock full of fresh apricots; or the Španělský ptáček - nicely browned, thin & tender, served in an uncharacteristically shiny sauce.
It's safe to say that most of the meals here would tick the box of "comfort food" quite swimmingly. (These are meals you would think about spontaneously, while driving, working, falling asleep... And you would have them basically any day if you could, again and again. Like your Granny's Svíčková.)
Recommended, bordering on must-try :).
