★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This palace is a fantastic place to visit. Though we didn't go inside. There is great handcrafted chocolate shop and café. There are one two other shop, too. The garden is big, worth taking a walk. There is also a good café near the church close to the palace. Parking was affordable, you can pay in Czech Koruna or Euro coins. As I remember one hour costs 20 CZK or 1 EUR in the closest parking lot to the palace. We were there on a Saturday and the next Monday. It seems that the shops are not open on Mondays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful castle and a herb garden. Though it was hot, in the herb garden was nice to stay. Be prepared to wear slippers in the castle through the whole tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful palace in the center of town, the gardens are qui spacious and make for a good walk. The restaurant bar inside is very nice with very kind staff and good bathroom. There is also a wine shop inside with a nice selection of local wines for a pretty good price. Really enjoyed our visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful historical monument, it’s a part of UNESCO. Unfortunately needs some improvements - new edvanced form of slippers that are used for the interior tours, the old ones are really inefficient, you could barely walk. Not safe for elders. But the biggest suggestion for the improvement is about the toilets. They are not for free, you must pay, just with the CZK coins. The system is really outdated. Guys, it’s 20s of 21st century, not the 80s of 20th century. All in all it was a good trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UNESCO site, located in center of Valtice. Currently not open on weekdays, but normally in summer months it's open for inside tours. However, the outside is picturesque. There is a cafe currently open where you can buy delicious chocolate and some wine, located in the castle courtyard. Friendly staff. Paid parking nearby.
