Navyše sa v interiéri dočítate, že počas výstavby spadla časť - pre neskúsenosť stavbárov ... Very interesting and unusually decorated church. I haven't seen such an interior yet. Je chráněn jako kulturní památka České republiky.[1] Historie Původní kostel ve Valticích byl poprvé připomínán v polovině 13. století. Poté, co ho husité vypálili, byl sice opraven, ale na začátku 17. století už nevyhovoval rostoucímu počtu farníků. Roku 1631 začala stavba současného chrámu, která byla dokončena roku 1671[2]staviteli J. Carlonem, Giovannim Giacomem Tencallou a Ondřejem Ernou. (V roce 1638 se kopule kostela zřítila.) Stěny a klenby jsou bohatě vyzdobeny štukovými výjevy. Kostel vévodí panoramatu města z mikulovské strany. Popis Jedná se o jednolodní kostel půdorysu kříže s pravoúhlým kněžištěm. V roce 1992 byly na věž umístěny dva nové zvony. Zařízení kostela je z 18. století. Jeden z obrazů na hlavním oltáři je originál od P. P. Rubense. Beautiful church.
