★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prostě děs, TIC přestěhováno na zámek, dvě nepříjemné pracovnice, které se tváří, že je obtěžujete, nic neporadí, nenabídnou, suvenýrů dostatek, turistické známky nemají, byli jsme z nich v šoku.
Oproti tomu v Muzeu vinařství příjemná, usměvavá paní.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prvé zmienky o radnici vo Valticiach pochádzajú z konca 14. stor. Táto pôvodná radnica slúžila svojmu účelu až do roku 1763, kedy bola zničená požiarom. Požiar toho roku bol veľmi rozsiahly a zničil aj veľké množstvo domov. Napriek tomu však už o rok neskôr stála radnica nová, tentoraz už na mieste, kde ju môžeme nájsť aj dnes. Rýchle postavenie radnica umožnila pomoc kniežaťa Josef Václav z Lichtenštejna, tak aj pomoc miestnych remeselníkov a živnostníkov.
Radnica bola postavená v rokoch 1887 - 1889 staviteľom Janom Drechsler a takmer polovicu nákladov na stavbu uhradili Ján II z Lichtenštejna a sporiteľňa. Pôvodná radnica aj jeden zo susedných domov boli zbúrané a na ich mieste v priebehu jedného roka bola postavená radnica nová.
V druhej polovici 19. stor. bola radnica sčasti prestavaná, ale už koncom 19. stor. bolo rozhodnuté o stavbe novej radnice. Hlavným dôvodom stavby novej radnice bola nutnosť stavby novej budovy okresného súdu, inak by Valtice túto výsadu centra súdnictva stratili. Veľkú zásluhu na stavbe radnice aj budovy súdu mal vtedajší starosta Karel Haussner.
The first mention of the town hall in Valtice comes from the end of the 14th century. This original town hall served its purpose until 1763, when it was destroyed by fire. The fire of that year was very large and destroyed a large number of houses. Nevertheless, a year later, the new town hall stood, this time in a place where we can find it today. The quick position of the town hall was made possible by the help of Prince Josef Václav of Liechtenstein, as well as the help of local craftsmen and tradesmen.
The town hall was built between 1887 and 1889 by the builder Jan Drechsler, and almost half of the construction costs were paid by John II of Liechtenstein and the savings bank. The original town hall and one of the neighboring houses were demolished and a new town hall was built in their place within one year.
In the second half of the 19th century. the town hall was partially rebuilt, but at the end of the 19th century. it was decided to build a new town hall. The main reason for building the new town hall was the need to build a new district court building, otherwise Valtice would lose this privilege of the judiciary. The then mayor Karel Haussner had a great deal of credit for the construction of the town hall and the court building.
