Beautiful path. I recommend to come up to Spálov and go back to the top. I think this is Palacky path.

Skála vydala přibližně sto tun hornin a minerálů. When the Rieger Trail was created in 1909, the builders had to deal with some demanding stretches. The paths of the right shore of Jizera are comprised by solid rock massives. In the first part of the trail, the terrain unevenness resolved a hanging gallery 77 meters long (so long tunnel would be economical problem and time-consuming too). The second difficult site was the rock formation at the foot of Medenec hill. Here, too, the construction of a gallery was considered. In the end, however, it was decided to break the tunnel through an extremely solid rock. The twelve meters long tunnel was completed in six weeks. 1086 pieces of dynamite patrons were needed to shoot the rock, about one hundred tons of rock and mineral material has been released.

Velmi hezké místo na Riegerově stezce. Tudy procházet v jakém koliv ročním období opravdu sotjí za to.
Very nice place on the Rieger Trail. Browse this way at what time of the year really trick for it.

Not only the tunnel, but the entire Rieger Trail through the Jizera Valley is beautiful and definitely worth a visit and a hiking trip, which you can end in the Bozkov Caves, for example. Just avoid the Hotel Pod Spálovem with an arch. I have never encountered greater arrogance from staff. It is better to Roubenka in Bozkov or to a restaurant in Železný Brod.
