★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet place, with few customers in a spot located only a few steps away from the Old Town Square and its hordes of tourists. Reasonably priced

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable that this cafe is just a short walk from the always crowded Old Town Square. A very hidden and quiet place enjoyed by students and locals to relax and enjoy coffee or have a meal. Piano and books included. I recommend ordering Kofola, which is Czech’s version of Coca-Cola.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's reminds me my Erasmus years 2011, 2012... Nithing change there. Everything is old Jewish and student. Typical literature cafe but in the top center

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the heart of Prague's touristy old town, this is a friendly local's cafe/bar. You get the feeling that it's a place locals know and enjoy coming too. There was a pleasant, vibrant buzz when we walked in. Surrounded by books, there's a really lovely atmosphere.
Hot chocolate was supremely good, blowing away the expensive chain cafes nearby. Beer was fabulous and cheap. Cake just sublime. Lovely. Service good, friendly and tolerant of hesitant non-speakers of Czech.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy cafe in the very center of Prague. Prices reasonable, very limited choice of food but great for having a drink, possible to sit outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was pretty hard to find since the door is a bit hidden. The hot chocolate and the coffee is great though! Very cosy place, one of the places with really nice staff as well. Felt like the customers were local coffe drinkers :).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to love this cozy, hidden spot off of Old Town Square, but my most recent visit has completely changed my mind. During the highest incidence of new Covid cases, the waitress actually LAUGHED when I showed my Covid vaccination, only proving how simple and ignorant she is. The rest of our party had arrived before me and no one had been asked to show proof of vaccination or having recovered from Covid. And NONE of the waitstaff were wearing masks! What a joke...a cafe that is supposedly intellectual but shows no signs of believing in science...there are so many better places in Prague, for locals and visitors - don't waste your time and money!
