The hostess/waitress seemed a little nervous about the size of our party and only spoke a little English, but everything was very nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The plates came out a bit staggered (between 20-30 min), but that was understandable given their small staff and no advance notice. I ordered/tried the spare ribs, the pork knuckle, and breaded chicken dishes. All were very good with big portions at reasonable prices (>165 crowns). Tasty draft beers were 25-35 crowns ea. Recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off the beaten tourist track but easily accessible by tram. Local bar eatery with very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with local folklore. Haven't eaten there but probably a workmans menu. Drinking is so cheap you won't go back to town center ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff come across as being a bit arsey but it's just their way. And their English is way better than my Czech so don't let that put you off going in. The quality and price of the beer is second to none and the toilets are spotless.
A great option if you're staying this way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to get Czech local food for local prices! Even on Saturday they had a menu with like 10 most common Czech plates. Yep, it’s not healthy that much but is so good. I had Výpečky with spinach and dumplings- very good choice. Fired cheese ? was good as usually. They also have draft Kofola which goes together with this food (as Czech variant of coca-cola).
