Objednávky knih je možné provádět přes internet, ale webový portál je velmi zastaralý a není příliš přehledný. Důvodem je mezinárodní kompatibilita. Knihy, o které je zájem je možné si půjčit pouze na 14 dní a nelze si výpůjční dobu prodloužit. U ostatních je měsíční výpůjční lhůta s možností prodloužení. Prostory knihovny jsou zastaralé a je tu celkem rušno. Vstup není bezbariérový. Personál je příjemný. Parkování před knihovnou je celkem nemožné a je placené. Nicméně před knihovnou je zastávka MHD. Knihy lze vracet i mimo otevírací dobu do biblioboxu venku před knihovnou. In the library you will find perhaps all the books that you remember. Book orders can be made over the Internet, but the web portal is very outdated and not very well arranged. The reason is international compatibility. Books of interest can be borrowed only for 14 days and the loan period cannot be extended. For others, there is a monthly loan period with the possibility of extension. The premises of the library are obsolete and it is quite busy. Entry is not wheelchair accessible. The staff is friendly. Parking in front of the library is quite impossible and is paid. However, there is a bus stop in front of the library. Books can be returned outside the opening hours to the bibliobox outside the library.

Milí zaměstnanci, kteří vám rádi pomohou, když se nějakého titulu nemůžete dohledat. :) The library has a large selection of books and non-books, not only in Czech, but also in English, German and other languages. Dear staff who will be happy to help you if you can't find a title. :)
G	George O´Harek (JOh) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuto úctyhodnou instituci jsem navštěvoval a využíval od střední školy až po postgraduální studium na PřFUP. Tehdy to byla Univerzitní knihovna, později Státní vědecká knihovna. Vždy trpěla kritickým nedostatkem místa jak v provozu, tak pro skladování obrovského a mimořádně cenného fondu. Nedovedu posoudit, jak se významně změnila situace výstavbou nové části ( viz foto ). Instituce by zasloužila moderní sídlo a to i přesto, že pro ni byly nedávno postaveny kapacitní depozitáře. I attended and used this respectable institution from high school to postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Science. It was then the University Library, later the State Scientific Library. It has always suffered from a critical lack of space both in operation and for the storage of a huge and extremely valuable fund. I cannot judge how the situation has changed significantly by building a new part (see photo). The institution would deserve a modern headquarters, despite the fact that capacity depositories have recently been built for it.
