★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful walk up to Blanik, traditional, beautiful nature, great views, it is worth climbing up the view tower if open. Two possible routes, one longer but not as steep, second much much shorter, but the walk is steep. Do not forget to visit the knights of Blanik. They actually sleep inside the hill. The hill opens once a year on a Big Friday before Easter. Whoever finds the entrance may enter and take as much treasure as he can. BUT... If you don't walk out in time you spend a day inside the hill. The catch is that one day inside the hill equals a year outside.
And also visit the chapel at Small Blanik.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mysterious walk through the footsteps of an ancient legend. Big Blaník is one of the most important places in Czech history and every Czech should go through this hike. At the top there is a tall ancient lookout tower open only sometimes.
