The beautiful Renaissance house on Gothic foundations was rebuilt in Baroque style after 1683. Today's Neo-Rococo look is the result of a 1907 modification made by Čeněk Stříbrný. The oldest mention of the building dates back to 1407. Thirteen years later, during the Hussite storms, the house burned down and was not restored until 1473, probably only as a makeshift wooden building. It is showed by the small price, which is rather just the value of the land. A very low price is still recorded in 1510, when the land belonged to the monastery of St. Thomas. Owners often changed during the 16th and 17th centuries, but the price did not rise until 1689. In 1723, the house was referred to as a single-storey building. Today the building houses the Embassy of Albania.
