Marek Galbinec is most drastic vet we have ever had, our dog was treated by him 3 times,violent, negative experience. He said if we dont like how he works, we should find other clinic. We love the lady doctors there and our dog loves them as well, but Marek Galbinec should not work with animals! Dont book to him appointment!!!

I chose this clinic because of these advanced dental technologies that they have listed on their website. On the consultation visit I explained that my cat lost one tooth in the front a while ago. Doctor recommendation was to do an x-ray with anaesthesia to check if there are any small pieces of tooth root left (he didn't bother to explain to me what type of anaesthesia he is going to use etc.). The fact that she lost it a month ago and there were no signs of infection was not taken into consideration. Doctor said that he also recommends doing a teeth cleaning and I was totally ok with that (only the best for my baby) until later I realized that 1. she does have clean teeth, 2. she is only 2y.o. and too young for that procedure in general. Not to mention that anaesthesia is very stressful occasion and sometimes even dangerous for these little animals and it supposed to be avoided in any way possible. Consultation ended, I went to a reception and asked for an estimated cost of the procedures and nurse (receptionist) was unable to give me clear answer what exactly we will do on the next visit and how much is it going to cost. Ok I understand it is hard to predict what is going to happen, but I would expect any kind of estimation - at least worst/best case scenario thing. So, what does that mean to me, I am supposed to expect to pay any amount of money that they will decide on the last minute (?). It could be 2000 czk or 17000 czk easily right? I honestly don't get that approach. Here is the fun part. I went to our old clinic later just to double check the recommendation and they told me that my cat doesn't require any of that. She is just too active and probably lost her tooth while running like crazy and hitting doors with her head (literally), I didn't know that it happens to a very active cat. They also informed us that front teeth have a teeny-tiny root and 99% chances that we would already notice infection to that time. And this is it. I paid 400czk for 10 minutes consultation in Vethope (reminder - with no clear medical plan provided) while in our old clinic they did consultation for us for free just because. I should probably buy them some chocolates next time just as a sign of appreciation of providing honest services. The feeling that I had after visiting Vethope was that this is just one of those types of vets where they care only about the number of services that they could possibly charge you. Those vetclinics know that we are ready to pay any kind of money just to make our babies healthy, but please be careful and don’t fall for that.

Felt like they didnt really care. Waiting time is also too long. The ladies infront was nice tats the only good part. They already knew i rescued my dog at the pound. She was already having distemper symtoms that i wasnt aware. (They are the pro they should have known better) so tat i could give her everything she needed when she was still stronger to make her feel better. Payed alot of money then payed again. Felt like they just want to keep taking our money. Then when she became weaker (couldnt stand anymore) span of less than a week. thats the only time they told us she might have the virus!! (So we payed again) They should have said that EARLIER!! why!? WHY!? If i just knew earlier i could have saved my dog. (Its possible even if the dog gets distemper) She was really sweet she deserve better. I made wrong choices. I just wanted to have a place where my fur babies can really be taken good care. I really need to share this. Be carefull
